Nationalist Lists Almost Complete [English Language]

Mensajepor George Spiggott » 04/Mar/2013 21:37

English version.

Hi, I've been away a while but I assure you I have been hard at work. The Nationalist lists are almost complete. Like the CTV lists we have combined some of the force organisation charts (Nationalist Regulars and Foreign Legion are combined as are Carlists and Falangists). I've also started work on a small Foreign Legion force.

There are some things we need to clarify.

In the Nationalist support weapon platoons (armas de apoyo) are the mortar team options instead of or in addition to the LMG teams?

Assault Guard lists. Does the Assault Guard list in Times of War give a better structure for Nationalist Civil Guard (options for SMGs and LMGs in the platoon).

I think it would be possible to make a combined Civil/Assault Guard list with options to make the list Republican or Nationalist.

Hello George

We have got our lists in Beta version. The first, the Legion, is finished:

If you want the whole list I can send you.

I think isn´t a good idea to combine Legion&Regulares, and Carlistas&Falange, they were very diferent.

In the Republica the Guardia Civil was disbanded in Guardia Nacional Republicana, more and less the Guardia de Asalto.

Hola y gracias.

Morteros Brixia parecen haber desaparecido. ¿Por qué es esto?

Hello and thanks. Yes, please send me your new version of the Foreign Legion list.

I think if I show you the combined lists we have done you may agree that it is a good idea (or not). I will send you them to you look at if you like. You can see what we have done. I did more work on the combined police list and I agree that a combined police list is impossible, there are too many differences.

This version looks different to the version posted by miguelondrio on our forums. I have some questions about the parts shown.

Foreign Legion are much more expensive now? Why so much?
Brixia mortars seem to be gone. Why is this?

Hello George

I think it is a good idea just one list for Republican Police, becouse there was an unique Police. It was called Guardia Nacional Republicana, in 1936. In 1937 it was called Cuerpo de Seguridad Interior.

Do not look the cost of the Legion, they are changing every day.

Brixia mortars are the same than 50mm Valero mortar.

[English tranmslation]
I see now. Regarding mortars have you given all light mortars the same attributes or just the same cost? For the Valero 50mm we have used the attributes of the British 2" mortar found in British Infantry lists in Flames of War WWII. This British weapon is based upon the Spanish Valero design. For the Brixia we have used the attributes for the Brixia found in Flames of War for WWII Italian lists. Their attributes are on the Armoury PDF I posted on Dropbox. I have also put the latest version (work in progress) of our Nationalist update and translation.
